The vital foundation for your bruschetta – does what it says on the tin! Top these with a bit of what you fancy. I also did a plain version. I’m sure they would be just as yummy with big slices of crusty bread.
Cheesy Bruschetta Toasts
- Roughly 1/2 baguette
- A few slices of Gouda cheese
- Heat the oven up 'til it's nice and hot - I used gas mark 8.
- Slice the baguette diagonally into even slices.
- Top each slice with Gouda cheese, and toast in the top of the oven 'til the cheese bubbles and the bread is beginning to brown.
